How to Import Historical Hyros Conversions
This guide shows you how to migrate your historical conversion data (leads, calls, sales) from Hyros into our platform. This process involves exporting a CSV from Hyros and mapping that data into our Conversion Setup tool.
1. Export Data from Hyros
First, you need to download your raw sales data.
Open Sales Data: In your Hyros dashboard, go to the left-hand sidebar and click Sales Data.
Verify Columns: Ensure the "Last Source" column is visible in your table.
Note: "Last Source" is required for attribution. It usually represents the Ad Name, though occasionally Hyros may export it as the Ad Set name.
Export: Click the Export Sales button in the top right corner. This will download a
.CSVfile to your computer.
2. Upload to Ad Tracking
Once you have your file, switch back to our platform to begin the import.
Navigate to Ad Tracking > Conversion Setup.
Click on the specific event you want to update (e.g., "Purchase" or "Lead").
Click + Add a Source and select CSV Upload.
Name Source: Enter a clear name (e.g., "Hyros Purchase Import") and click Continue.
Upload File: Drag and drop your Hyros CSV file into the box.
3. Map Data Columns
This step tells our system how to read your file. You must match the fields on the left with the correct Hyros columns on the right using the dropdown menus.
Use the following mapping configuration for the best results:
Contact Email: Select
EmailContact Phone: Select
PhonesFirst Name: Select
NameConversion Value ($): Select
Income(Crucial for tracking revenue)Ad Name (Last Touch): Select
Last Source(Crucial for ad attribution)Conversion Date: Select
Date
Pro Tip: If you are importing purchases, double-check that Conversion Value ($) is mapped to Income so your revenue numbers show up correctly.
4. Review & Finish
Preview: The system will display a summary of your data, including Valid Rows and Ad Match Rate.
Note: If you are testing with dummy data, a 0% Ad Match Rate is normal.
Start Import: Click the Start Import button. A progress bar will appear while the system processes your historical data.
Once the bar reaches 100%, your Hyros data will be fully integrated into your conversion event.
P.S: Hyros "Last Source" may not always show the Ad Name.
We have seen cases where the Last Source is the ad set name. We do not know why, as it's not our platform.
These edge cases will not be properly attributed, since Hyros did not give you the proper ad name and that is outside of our control.
